This website is a small, quiet corner on the internet where I share my creative journey, everyday experiments, and the simple joy of making things by hand.
For over a decade, my world was all about marketing strategies and the fast-paced energy of the startup industry. While I valued those years, I always felt a quiet pull toward a slower, more hands-on life. In 2025, I chose to listen to that inner voice, stepping away from the corporate world to fully dedicate my time to learning and practicing handmade arts. Today, I divide my time between my home studios in Bangkok and Singapore, finding balance in the rhythm of both places.

Why “Neela”?
The name means “blue” in Sanskrit—a thoughtful gift from my husband because it is my favorite color. It serves as a gentle reminder to keep my creations grounded, calming, and true to myself.
Currently, my days are spent getting my hands messy with natural clay, playing with watercolor, and occasionally experimenting with sourdough baking in the kitchen.

I don’t consider myself a master artist. Everything you see here—the ceramics, the drawings, the cozy recipes—is simply a work in progress. I find beauty in imperfect lines and appreciate the patience that craftwork teaches me every day. Neela’s Artroom is just a visual diary of my learning process, where most creations are made to be shared and gifted to family and friends.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope these everyday experiments bring a little bit of warmth to your day.
Thank you for scrolling through my quiet hours.
If you’d like to see what I am currently painting or pinching on the clay today, the best place to find me is on Instagram. Let’s be friends!
