Neela’s Art – Hand-Drawn Memories

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved to draw. Back then, I spent hours copying Japanese manga and secretly dreamed of becoming a manga artist (haha). That childhood hobby stayed with me through the years, and during my university days studying industrial design, I started exploring watercolors, markers, and colored pencils.

For the most part, my traditional art has always been deeply personal. I mostly draw about love, quiet everyday moments, and things that bring me peace. My style leans towards cute, whimsical, and slightly fantasy-like characters.

Because these drawings are essentially my personal happiness journals—often made during my free time or gifted to my husband—I’ve rarely shown them to anyone else until now.

In Neela’s Artroom, I’m finally opening up this little corner to share these hand-drawn memories. They might not be perfect, masterfully painted pieces, but they are full of joy, and I hope they bring a little smile to your face too.
